Betty Tabor Givin aka Elisheva Tavor

Betty Tabor Givin (who is also known by her Hebrew pen name, Elisheva Tavor) is a lifelong teacher and educator, After having retired from her teaching career of several decades in the public and private school sector, she turned her full attention to religious education.

She is an active long-term board member for United Israel World Union and was a personal friend of its beloved founder, David Horowitz, of blessed memory. Betty’s popular teachings demonstrate the depth and beauty of her love of the Bible and her Jewish faith. Her articles and essays have been featured in various publications and on the web.

She is now celebrating the publication of her first book, entitled “Hidden Sparks Beneath the Surface,” which she refers to as a ‘labor of love,’ as it is dedicated to her beloved husband, Roger of blessed memory. She is the proud mother of three beautiful daughters, thirteen grandchildren, and eight nine great grandchildren. She currently resides in Lake Charles, LA. and author of her new book entitled, “Hidden Sparks Beneath the Surface.”
